Join me for this 3 session workshop and discover the art of seeing the world through a sketchbook in this immersive urban sketching workshop. Designed for artists of all levels, we will explore how to capture the energy, architecture, and everyday moments of urban life using quick, expressive line & wash sketches. All materials will be provided, including your very own travel set! We will learn quick techniques for composition, perspective, and line work while developing confidence in drawing on location. Guided exercises will focus on observing details, simplifying complex scenes, and using ink, pencil, or watercolor to bring sketches to life. The workshop includes 2 in-studio sessions and an on-site sketching session in a vibrant urban setting, offering opportunities to practice capturing movement, light, and atmosphere. Also included is your very own watercolor travel set! By the end, we will have crafted a collection of sketches that tell a story and a deeper appreciation for drawing from life.
